As the title says…the third email I sent out… 😀
Hola amigos!
How has the week been? I’ll have to say mine has been rather busy; thus I apologize that this email is coming at the end of the week rather than the beginning. Anyhow, I have some exciting news! We have two new teammates joining us in Peru! Molly Mueth and Adrian Barrera will be serving alongside us this summer. Welcome! I’m going to post the two emails that I have sent already to the team blog at: http://08pe0626amb1.myadventures.org/, so when you get the chance, please go there and read those. Also, no one has really been using the blog (myself included) lately, but we really should try to communicate that way more because it helps AIM know what is going on with our team and helps all of us see what is going on as well. It’s also a great place to post questions so we can all see the answers (facebook is great, but I don’t think everyone has it). I also posted something there earlier this week about things that I feel God wants to do in our team this summer, and I would appreciate it if you took the chance to read it and begin to pray with me about those things.
One of the things I mentioned on the blog is praying for team unity. This will be really important for us as we strive to show those in Peru that we are Christians by our love for one another. The other day I was reading in Ephesians and happned to read Chapter 4. I feel strongly that the words of this chapter could be a theme for our summer. I would love it if you guys would read it and write back (reply all) about what you feel that this means for you personally and what it will mean for our team. I’d like to share my thoughts with you too after you get the chance to read it.
Alright, that’s all the seriousness I have for now. I hope you all have a great weekend! By the way, I’m going to try to give you guys a call sometime this weekend so we can get the chance to talk (Jason will get to do this too when he gets back in the states in about a month…be praying for him and his finishing ministry in Peru!). Random question: What is your favorite movie?? Mine…definitely the little Mermaid…haha I’ve probably seen it about 50 times….and sing the songs weekly. Other random fact about me…we have a prom for med school tonight! Haha, the girls will know that that is super exciting. 🙂
